Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar ...
And so, by the power vested in me by the State of Analogy, surely an SF author can declare that sometimes an SF story (or TV show or movie) is just a story, and that it's okay to simply be ... fun.
In that spirit, take a gander at this paean to SF corridors from the Den of Geek. It's a neat post with great visuals from classic SF movies.
Urbin dot net offers an entertaining compendium of SFnal quotes. (Who wouldn't love, for example: "First things first -- but not necessarily in that order" -- The Doctor, Doctor Who.)
And from the world of steampunk, check out Seven Replica Rayguns Made from Recycled Materials.
MST3K for?). Check out Screen Junkies list of the Ten Worst SF movies.
Since our theme is fun, there's also fun to be had mocking bad science. For that, check out Insultingly Stupid Movie Physics. It's a great source of info for both specific issues (like why -- in real life, as opposed to movies -- every car crash doesn't produce a fireball) and movie reviews. Their #1 pick --so bad it's good -- was The Core.
Go have fun.
